Newly registered contributors MUST have
any initial contribution approved by admin before it is published
live. This is an anti-spam and security precaution.
Admin can approve you as a full contributor and once this has been done you
can file directly without the requirement of admin approval.
To file news, follow the instructions below:

Multiple Categories
If your item is suited to multiple regions or topics select a group. On registering
with the system you will receieve an email with full details regarding categories
and groups. If still unsure file the story as unapproved and it will then be
checked by an editor.
Uploading pictures
This system permits picture uploads. You can upload a picture
and insert it into your document in simple to follow steps. Please
pay attention to the instructions, available on the picture upload
page, when uploading pictures. Pictures can be inserted as static or
clickable thumbshots or as the full image (the latter is not recommended).
Large images will be automatically reduced by the system. You can also
create a thumbshot at the time of upload to place in the story. You
can then right click the image in the news editor and link to the URL
of the larger image. Be sure the check that the link is set to open
in a new blank window.
Formatting
It is the responsibility of contributors to check spelling
and punctuation and to ensure that formatting is applied in line with
the system requirements before filing any items.
Content
Items that are considering to be purely promotional commercial
material will be rejected. This is a news website and, where promotional
commercial material meets the criteria of being newsworthy over and
above commercial interest, it may be published.

exploring all of the options available on the page.

an editor that your material requires editorial attention.
Once published, guest users are initially unable to return to and edit material,

as contributors.

AN EDITOR
Registered contributors whose journalistic knowledge and skill
is considered sufficient may progress to the level of editor whereby
they may be granted editing rights for a particular category or categories.

The publishing
page has two sections - short story, and full story. The short story
will always appear on the selected news page, but the long story (accessed
for input purposes by clicking the 'toggle full story' link on the
add news page) may sometimes be automatically filed separately and
is accessed through a link at the end of the short story. If your item
is just a few paragraphs or so, then file it in the short story section.
Otherwise, please use the short story as an introduction and place
the full article in the long story section.
This is the news publishing page.
In addition to individual categories and topics, there are groups,
for instance 'African States' and 'South Americas'. Selecting a group
will publish your item to all countries in the group. Selecting 'International'
will publish the item on every news page.
You are advised to study and become familiar with the list of categories.
The WYSIWYG CKeditor has full text and file handling
capability.

for users and can only be accessed by admin

for publication and thre system willautomatically publish it then.
You are strongly advised to study
the news submission guidelines before
publishing articles for the first time.
Items that are considered unsuitable
will be removed by the editor. All items will be archived when outdated—usually
on the 1st of each month—and then removed and stored offline once
they become fully outdated [after 5 years].
Please note that, together with

tirelessly to produce all its elements, I have provided this system
as a free public service for the common good and with the intention
of strict adherence to the ethos of bona fide journalism, the dissemination
